Feeney Named Salisbury No.2

Conference Premier outfit Salisbury City have confirmed that Warren Feeney will be joining the club as player-assistant manager.

Feeney started his career at Leeds United in 1998, and has played 15 seasons as a professional.

Though Feeney started his career at Leeds United, he never played for their league side.

It was after he moved to Bournemouth, initially on loan, that his career took off, scoring 36 goals for them.

Further moves saw spells at various clubs, including Stockport County and Luton Town, before spending the past couple of seasons at Plymouth Argyle.

He has scored 84 goals in his career to date, including five in 46 international appearances for Northern Ireland.

The news was announced at The Whites' pre-season friendly against Torquay on Saturday.
