Knitters Boss To Field A Strong Side

Stuart Storer, manager of Calor League Premier Division club Hinckley United, is set to play what he believes is near to his best side when they host Barwell tonight.

The Knitters lost 2-1 to Bedworth United at the weekend with a team Storer (pictured) does not expect to resemble the one which will start the season.

He said: "Saturday was a discovery game for me.

"We had three or four players I'm looking to keep and the rest were people I was hoping would stake a claim.

"I probably knew we wouldn't get a result, but I wanted to use the game to look at players and what positions some can play.

"You learn more about players in game like that rather the ones where you play your strongest side and win 5-0.

"We'll have a stronger side against Barwell. Maybe eight or nine of the players I'm looking to start the season with will start the game."
