Noon Is Latest To Commit To Motors

Karl Noon has become the latest in a long line of players to sign a new deal to remain with Conference North club Vauxhall Motors for another season.

Noon (pictured) is in his second spell at Rivacre Park after re-joining in February 2013 from Warrington Town, and enjoyed a successful finish to last season, making 13 appearances and scoring one goal.

Noon was with Liverpool as a youngster and went on to play for Prescot Cables, Southport, Bangor City - where he experienced European football in the UEFA Cup - as well as Marine and Colwyn Bay before joining Motors in 2008.

He had two successful years in his first spell at the club, which led to international recognition as he was called up for the England C squad, before re-joining Colwyn Bay in 2010.

"We are delighted that he has decided to extend his time at Rivacre Park. Karl will be available for our next game, a pre-season friendly at Burscough on Saturday," said a club spokesman.
