Bernstein Named New Vanarama Group Chairman

Former Football Association Chairman and Current British Red Cross Chairman to strengthen the team at Autorama UK Ltd., the UK's leading supplier of new vans to the UK's Small Medium Enterprises and current sponsor of the Football Conference, has announced the appointment of David Bernstein as Group Chairman.

Bernstein's strong experience across multiple business sectors will support Vanarama's management team as the business continues its rapid growth. A key focus for him will be helping Vanarama make the most of the opportunities presented to the sector as a result of regulatory changes by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and a boom in demand from and in particular the Construction sector.

His appointment as Chairman is another sign of Vanarama's intentions to cement its role as the UK's leading branded vehicle leasing company. Having rebranded in 2013 and taken the leap to TV and radio advertising, and sponsorship, Vanarama has already seen over 120% growth in the last year.

Mr Bernstein has previously been Chairman of Manchester City and is also well known for his role as Chairman of The Football Association from 2011-2013. He is currently Chairman of The British Red Cross and Ted Baker PLC.
