Bevan Signs For Hawks

Goalkeeper Scott Bevan has signed on the dotted line for Conference South club Havant & Waterlooville after impressing in a couple of trial matches against Wycombe Wanders And Portsmouth in the last week.

Bevan started his long goalkeeping career in his home town of Southampton for seven years, making loan appearances for Woking, Huddersfield Town and Wycombe Wanderers.

He then left the Saints to play for Milton Keynes Dons. During his time there he was loaned to Tamworth, who reached the third round of the FA Cup.

In January 2006, a serious injury sustained against Forest Green Rovers needed surgery and resulted in Bevan having a kidney removed.

Bevan (pictured) displayed great courage and discipline to return to the professional game, racking up an impressive amount of appearances for Kidderminster Harriers, Shrewsbury Town, Torquay United and Bristol Rovers.
