Cozic Signs For Tiverton

Calor League Division One South & West club Tiverton Town have announced the signing of former Exeter City midfielder Bertie Cozic.

The 35-year-old Frenchman (pictured) joined Team Bath in 2002 after plying his trade in France. He went on to play for Cheltenham Town, Hereford United, Northampton Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Aldershot town before re-joining Team Bath.

He was one of manager Paul Tisdale’s first signings when taking over at St James’ Park. Cozic has played a total of 166 league games, scoring seven times, and was released by City two years ago.

Since then he has been keeping busy running his own creperie Le Goumandine in Exeter city centre.

Manager John Clarkson commented: “He hasn’t got an ounce of fat on him and looks very fit, he says he will give us a year and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
