Porter Coup For Oadby

Chromasport & Trophies United Counties League Division One club Oadby Town have secured the signing of ex-Leicester City winger Levi Porter.

Porter (pictured), who played for Leicester between 2006 and 2010, having previously been a member of the Leicester City youth set-up, netted two Man of the Match awards for the Championship club.

His first was in late 2006 when he scored a last minute winner against Wolves to give Leicester a 2–1 away win. He then put in another Man of the Match performance in a 2–2 FA Cup draw against Fulham, during which he set up Danny Cadamarteri's last minute equaliser.

Porter has also played for Hinckley United and Mansfield Town, and has represented England in their youth sides eight times.

There has been a fantastic reception from Oadby fans since his arrival, and the club hope that he can form a very positive part of this season's promotion campaign.
