Two Out, Two In at Laird

Tony Sullivan, manager of Evo-Stik League Division One North club Cammell Laird, has moved quickly to replace the outgoing Joe Holt and Aaron Bowen by capturing the signings of Jack Webb, formerly of Prescot Cables, and ex-Clitheroe attacking midfielder Daly Woods.

Cammell Laird fans will remember Woods as the man who scored in Clitheroe's 2-1 victory at Shawbridge in March of this year, ending a run of four wins on the spin.

Sullivan said: "We watched Jack a couple of times last season, and we feel he has a bright future at this level of football and possibly even higher."

When asked about Woods (pictured), Sullivan stated: "Wow, what a signing! It's a statement of intent really, that we can now attract some of the better players in this division."
