BELL MOVES AFTER ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS WITH WALTHAM FOREST
06/12/2003
Ryman League Division One North promotion-chasers Harlow Town have signed midfielder Leon Bell from rivals Waltham Forest.

Bell (pictured) had only joined Waltham Forest two weeks ago, having previously had a short stint with Dr Martens League Premier Division side Cambridge City.

Bell, who will be 23 on December 19th, is an industrious player who worked his way up through from the youth ranks at Barnet where he was managed by current Hawks boss Tommy Cunningham.
He turned professional during the 1999/00 season and made his first-team debut against Hull City.

Was transferred to Stevenage Borough in December 2002 and then signed for Ryman Leaguers Boreham Wood in the summer of 2003 after impressing in a loan spell at the end of the previous season.

Moved onto Cambridge City in September and then switched to Ryman Division One North outfit Waltham Forest less than two months later.
