EXPERIENCED RECRUITS FOR SNIPES 10/02/2005
Northern Counties East League Division One club Sutton Town handed out three debuts for their recent home clash with South Normanton Athletic.
Midfielder Jordan Johnson (pictured) made his first start after signing from neighbours Shirebrook Town last month.
Defender Paul Campbell, a formerly with Charlton Athletic, also made the Snipes' starting line-up after joining from Premier Division neighbours Mickleover Sports.
Campbell, is a vastly experienced and well-travelled player who, after being released from The Valley, had had spells with the likes of Bromley, Bishop’s Stortford, Dagenham & Redbridge, Sittingbourne, Erith & Belvedere and Chelmsford City before moving northwards and turning out for Belper Town, Kettering Town, Ilkeston Town, Gedling Town and Mickleover.
And a late addition to the squad was former Sutton under-19 goalkeeper Matt Spencer, who took the place of Ricky Dalby.
