THREE MORE FOR LAW 10/08/2007
Nicky Law, manager of Blue Square North club Alfreton Town, took his tally of new signings to fifteen on Thursday night as he bolstered his strike force options.
Former Derby County, Tamworth, Kidderminster Harriers and Redditch United front runner Scott Rickards, 25, and the vastly-experienced former Hucknall Town marksman Mark Nangle, 38, both put pen-to-paper, as did former Sheffield Wednesday right winger Scott Ellis, 19.
Nangle and Ellis go straight into Law's squad for the season's opener at Blyth Spartans on Saturday, and there is a possibility of at least one more new signing before the big kick-off.
However, Alfreton have received notification from the Football Association that Rickards was sent-off when playing for Redditch on April 24th.
The FA have confirmed that Rickards (pictured) is to serve a one match ban on August 11th (carried over from last season).
Therefore the player has been withdrawn from the for Saturday's game at Blyth Spartans.
