TWO MORE IMPRESSIVE SIGNINGS BY BORO 26/07/2009
Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Broxbourne Borough made two more significant signings last week.
Manager Tony Faulkner confirmed to nonleaguedaily that midfielder James Osborn and Saf Pivano had put pen-to-paper for the Goffs Lane outfit.
Now in his fifth term with the Hertfordshire club, Faulkner spoke with delight at having signed a top quality player in Osborn, who spent the previous term with Ryman League Division One North side Leyton and previous to this included Chesham United as one of his former clubs.
Osborn (pictured) made just brief appearances at last term`s Herts Charity Shield winners but has given full commitment this time around as Boro make promotion its main objective.
The Boro boss also welcomes back former favourite Pavino, who has played for Kentish Town in recent times.
Pavino is a front line player of some qaulity with an excellent goals-per-game ratio.
Faulkner said: “I am absolutely delighted with the way things are shaping up, and although Tony Burke and Ryan Wade are unlikely to be with us next time around, we have quality in depth a great spirit in the camp.”
