SPITFIRES BORROW COOK 20/11/2009
Blue Square South club Eastleigh have signed defender Steven Cook on loan from Coca-Cola League One side Brighton.
Cook made his first-team debut for the Seagulls while still a youth team scholar as a substitute in the Carling Cup victory against Manchester City in September 2008.
He has since added two substitute league and one FA Cup appearance to that tally.
He enjoyed a six-week loan spell with the Spitfires` league rivals Havant & Waterlooville last season, appearing in five matches.
A full-back or centre half, Cook earned a one-year professional contract in the summer of 2009.
