SONNER BECOMES A PERMANENT REBEL 26/01/2010
Steve Bateman, manager of Zamaretto League Division One Midlands club Slough Town, has announced the capture of striker Sean Sonner on a permanent basis.
Sonner signed initially on-loan from Ryman League Premier Division side Boreham Wood for two month-long spells throughout November and December and made six appearances for the Rebels in his short-time at the club, scoring one goal.
The former Northwood and Harefield United striker hugely impressed Rebels supporters during his loan spell at the club with his skill and commitment and will be a welcome addition to the Rebels` squad.
Sonner made his last appearance for Boreham Wood last Monday night as a substitute in an away victory against Tooting & Mitcham United.
The striker went straight into the squad for Saturday’s 4-1 win at Stourport Swifts where he came on as a second half substitute.
