K`S GO SECOND 31/01/2010
Kingstonian moved into second place in the Ryman League Premier Division after beating struggling Margate on Sunday afternoon in a hard fought and entertaining encounter at Kingsmeadow.
A crowd of 347 saw John Fletcher put the K`s in front after 19 minutes. However, Mark Butler`s battling Kent outfit were always in the game, and it wasn`t until stoppage time at the end of the game that Dean Lodge (pictured) added the home side`s second goal to make the points safe.
The scheduled Zamaretto League Premier Division match between Evesham United and Clevedon Town was postponed due to a frozen St George`s Lane pitch.
