UniBond League Division One North strugglers Salford City have brought in two more impressive-looking signings - including an international!
England `C` international goalkeeper Scott Tynan has joined City.
Tynan (pictured) moved to Northwich Victoria on non-contract terms after severing ties with Blue Square Premier rivals Ebbsfleet United in October 2007.
The popular shot-stopper quickly ousted Ben Connett as Vics’ number one between the sticks following a string of outstanding performances, earning fans’ vote as Player of the Month for November and December.
His outstanding form earned him a recall to the national set up in May for the Home Nations tournament, joining the squad for their tour of the Caribbean that followed.
Also joined Salford from UniBond Premier Division side Witton Albion is defender Lee Neville.
The younger brother of Dave Neville, last season also saw him signed by FC United of Manchester as a cover player and, like his brother, he also played for Oldham Town and Middleton.
Lee Neville`s youth football career saw him on the books of Oldham Athletic, Bury and Rochdale.
