RIO JOINS CHELMSFORD 11/07/2003
Dr Martens League Premier Division club Chelmsford City have added another new face to their squad by signing midfielder Rio Alderton on a one-year contract.
The talented 20-year-old, who was previously on the books of Millwall and Southend United, was being chased by several other clubs but City boss Steve Mosely won the race for his signature.
Alderton (pictured) becomes Mosely's fourth signing of the week, joining Wes Faulkner and Danny Curran from his previous club Aveley and Russell Edwards from Welling United.
