SWIFTS BORROW SECOND CANVEY PLAYER 07/10/2003
Ryman League Premier Division club Heybridge Swifts have gone to rivals Canvey Island to borrow a second player on-loan.
Swifts already have striker Bertie Brayley on temporary terms at Scraley Road, and he has now been joined by Canvey team-mate Scott Forbes, who made his debut against Essex neighbours Grays Athletic on Saturday.
Forbes (pictured) joined Canvey in the summer of 2002 after two seasons with Southend United where he was Player of the Year. He had prebiously been with non-League sides Saffron Waldon Town and Bishop's Stortford befoe turning professional.
Meanwhile, Brayley has had his loan period extended by a further month. The young former West Ham striker has been a big success during his time with Swifts.
