HANDY SIGNINGS BY BURR 13/08/2004
Steve Burr, manager of Nationwide Conference National club Northwich Victoria, has completed a busy week by signing former Barnsley defender Peter Handyside and ex-Cheltenham Town striker Paul Brayson.
Ex-Grimsby and Scottish under-21 international Handyside (pictured), 30, was without a club following his departure from Oakwell at the end of last season.
Ex-Newcastle man Brayson, 26, was released by Cheltenham this summer and had been on trial with new Conference National rivals York City.
However, Burr has not signed Gregor Rioch or Tristram Whitman, who were expected to start the new season with the Vics, with Whitman chosing instead to sign for rivals Tamworth.
