WAITE MOVES SOUTH 28/03/2005
Thailand goalkeeper Jamie Waite has left Nationwide North side Barrow to join Conference National outfit Stevenage Borough.
Waite first played for the Thai international side aged just 15. At the time it made him the second youngest player ever to appear in a full international.
Following a string of good performances for the Thai national team, Waite signed a three-year scholarship with hometown club Rotherham United in the summer of 2003, but he failed to live up to the promise and left the club a year later.
Earlier this season he had a spell with Nationwide North side Kettering Town before signing for Barrow in January.
Waite has been on the bench for numerous games since joining the Bluebirds but made just one start, in the 3-2 home reversal to Fleetwood Town in the Marsden Trophy.
