DANIELS BORROW YOUNG IMP 14/01/2006
Southern League Division One East club Stamford have signed talented Lincoln City teenager Shane Clarke ahead of their home clash with Barking & East Ham united on Saturday.
Daniels boss Graham Drury swooped to sign the 18-year-old central midfielder on loan after watching him play for the Imps' second string against Scunthorpe United on Wednesday.
Drury said: "He's rated very highly by Lincoln and did okay on Wednesday. He gets across the pitch well and will be a good addition."
With Jim Neil, Robbie Maddox and Gareth Pritchard all fit again after a week's break, the Daniels are raring to go against fellow play-off chasers Barking as they look to maintain their unbeaten home record and complete a league double after a 1-0 win over the Blues in November.
Drury (pictured) added: "It's important we try and win as many games as possible now. The lads really believe in themselves at home and want to keep that unbeaten run going.
"Barking are quite an organised outfit and are hard to break down. They will be looking at the game as a chance to move three points closer to us, but we see it as a chance to move three points away from them.
"We haven't played very well in the last five games, so we're desperate to get three good points and get a run of results going."
