MOORS LAND NEW KEEPER
21/06/2006
Nationwide North club Moor Green have signed 24-year-old goalkeeper Daniel Lewis from Kidderminster Harriers on a one-year contract.

Lewis joined Kidderminster in May 2004 from Midland Alliance side Studley after a short period on trial at the club.

Prior to arriving at Harriers, the shotstopper forced his way into Harvey World Trabvel Midland Alliance Studley’s line-up after joining from Bromsgrove Sunday side Garringtons in the summer of 2002, conceding forty goals in thirty-seven games.

Redditch-born, he is a former Alvechurch youth teamer and has previously attracted plenty of scouts from clubs, including Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra, Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion before joining Harriers.

Lewis made twenty appearances for Kidderminster during his time at Aggborough, with one coming in the Football League and the other nineteen in the Conference National last season.
