SECOND LOANEE FOR BUCKLE 21/09/2007
Blue Square Premier club Torquay United have completed their second loan signing in the space of 24 hours, to help them through a selection crisis which currently robs manager Paul Buckle of half-a-dozen players.
Following the arrival of Plymouth Argyle utility player Scott Laird, United have now welcomed young Bolton Wanderers defender Mark Ellis on a one-month loan.
Ellis, 18, has been at the Reebok Stadium for two years, having started his career in Exeter City's youth team.
"I coached Mark at Exeter and his ability was there to see," said Gulls boss Paul Buckle (pictured). "He is very strong and very committed.
"It was no surprise when a big club came in for him. I have kept an eye on his since his move."
