RIDINGS SWITCH FINALLY CONFIRMED 02/07/2002
UniBond League Premier Division club Stalybridge Celtic have finally announced the signing of Leigh RMI midfielder Dave Ridings.
The experienced 32-year-old had been the subject of much speculation about moving across to the Tameside outfit, joining up again with the former Leigh assistant boss David Miller and a number of ex-Hilton Park team-mates.
He was rumoured to have signed early in May before having an apparent change of heart, but has now become Miller's ninth summer recruit.
Ridings (pictured) joins David German, Marcus Hallows and Craig Dootson, who were all at Leigh last term, and Terry Bowker, Kenny Mayers, Colin Potts and Chris Timons as the new men at Bower Fold, with midfielder Kevin Parr also re-signing for the club.
