STAFF SIGNING 30/05/2008
After capturing Leamington duo Aaron Parkinson and Ben Mackey, Phil Lines, manager of British Gas Business Southern League Premier Division club Brackley Town, is also pleased that Danny Spencer has re-signed, despite a number of other offers.
"He is a target man and striker and there are not many of them. There were a few clubs after him so I am please to hold on to him," said Lines.
"I am expecting good things of him and to score a few more goals."
David Staff (pictured), an attacking player who plays wide on the left or right, has joined from Rugby Town, where he scored six goals in his forty-three games for the club.
The 28-year-old has a wealth of experience having previously played for Nuneaton Borough during their good FA Cup run a few years ago, as well as Cambridge City and Boston United.
Lines expects five to six of the eight remaining players from last season's squad to stay at the club and is looking to make a further eight to ten new signings.
