Neil Young, manager of UniBond League Division One Noth club Colwyn Bay, has reached agreement two loan signings, including 6`3” central defender Danny Meadowcroft from Blue Square North side Northwich Victoria.
Former Halifax Town captain Meadowcroft (pictured), who has also had spells with Stockport County, Morecambe and Droylsden, rejoined Northwich in March last year and was influential in them ending last season with six successive wins.
He has recently recovered from injury and will join the Seagulls next week, initially for a month.
He joins up with young Towyn-born striker Alex Titchener, who is also joining the Seagulls on a month's loan from Coca-Cola League Two side Crewe Alexandra.
Locally based, Titchener, is a first year professional at Crewe and has been included on the substitute bench for the first-team this season. He is described as quick and a good finisher who scores goals regularly.
This follows the signing of winger Russell Headley from league rivals Woodley Sports, who will join up with the squad next week once the paperwork has been completed.
Headley signed for Woodley Sports from Mossley in 2004 and won the manager and players' player of the year awards in 2006.
