BENJAMIN TAKES MORPETH POST 20/09/2010
STL Northern League Second Division club Morpeth Town have appointed much-travelled striker Trevor Benjamin as their new manager.
Benjamin (pictured) takes over from Tom Wade, who left to take over at West Allotment Celtic in the First Division.
Benjamin signed as a player after moving from Bedlington Terriers a month ago, and agreed to be elevated to manager after the midweek defeat by his old club in the League Cup last week.
Benjamin was once transferred for £1m between Cambridge United and Leicester City, and has now played for no less than twenty-seven different clubs throughout the country.
He has also played for England under-21s and Jamaica.
