MACC RELEASE SIXTEEN PLAYERS

Blue Square Bet Premier newcomers Macclesfield Town have confirmed their retained list for the 2012/13 season.
The following players are currently under contract at the Moss Rose: James Bolton, Nat Brown, Colin Daniel, Tony Diagne, Waide Fairhurst, Elliott Hewitt, Arnaud Mendy, Andrew Mills, Ben Mills, Ben Tomlinson, Carl Tremarco and Sam Wedgbury.
Youth team players retained are: Matt Dolan, Matt Harris, Tim Hughes, Kieron Kenny, Patrick Kilburn, Liam Leary, Paul Lewis, Niall Rhodes, Darnell Smith, Thomas Stott and Joel Swift.
Ross Draper, meanwhile, has been offered a new deal by the club and the following players have now been released after their contracts with the Silkmen came to an end: Michael Bakare, Jon Bateson, Lewis Chalmers, Steve Collis, Jack Cudworth (pictured), Greg Daniels, Tom Fisher, Matt Hamshaw, Scott Kay, Jack Lane, Dwayne Mattis, Paul Morgan, Vinny Mukendi, Adam Roberts, Michael Thomas and Jose Veiga.
Youth players released are: Jay Burgess, Ryan Meredith, George Robertson, Jordan Trinci-Lyne and Jake Vernon.
"We would like to thank all of the released players for their efforts during their time with the Silkmen and wish them all the best for the future," read a club statement.
