LIONS CAPTURE TWO, RELEASE THREE 25/05/2012
Blue Square Bet North club Guiseley AFC have announced the signings of Josh Wilson and Rhys Meynell.
Wilson, 24, joins from Vauxhall Motors and is a current England C striker. Wilson (pictured) is very prolific and will be a great addition to the squad.
Meynell, also aged 24, has signed on contract terms and is a left back or midfielder who the Lions have had to work hard to capture.
On top of these signings, the club has announced that both Danny Forrest and Jamie Clarke have agreed to stay with the club next season.
Meanwhile, Steve Kittrick and the football management team have considered options on how to move forward, and as a result have advised Dave Merris, Ciaran Toner and Joe O’Neill that they will not be offered contracts for next season.
All three have given excellent service to the club, particularly Merris, who has been ever-present between 2010 and 2012 and has been awarded Player of the Year by the Supporters for the last two seasons.
