LUCHFORD ADDS EXPERIENCE 25/05/2012
Justin Luchford, manager of Ryman League Division One South club Whitstable Town, feels his side can push for the play-offs next season with the experience he has added to the side.
After re-signing Jake Beecroft last week, he has brought in Ian Pulman, Michael Everett, and Lawrence Harvey.
Everett (pictured) left Folkestone Invicta earlier this month after making more than 500 appearances for the side he captained last year.
Striker Pulman returns to Belmont after a spell at Ramsgate, while Harvey has re-signed for the club.
Luchford told the club’s website: “Ian will need no introduction to the supporters and they will be as delighted as I am that he will be pulling on the red shirt of Town for next season.
“Michael Everett is a massive signing for us as he comes with loads of experience; the skipper at Folkestone and is strong and committed; Michael will be a great addition to the side.
“Lawrence (Harvey) is another key signing and the few matches he has played for Town showed just how lucky we are to have Lawrence commit to the club, it shows that all the guys believe in the vision we have and that it to be a side whose aim is play-offs at the end of the season.
“Along with the backroom staff I have brought on board they are all important parts of my plans for the long term future of Whitstable Town.”
