DAVIS JOINS TONBRIDGE 13/06/2012
Blue Square Bet South club Tonbridge Angels have announced the signing of midfielder Tom Davis.
Davis was previously with Ryman League Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic, and had been on loan to Woking at the end of last season.
He signed for Dover in June 2009, after leaving AFC Wimbledon where he missed just four league games in their Blue Square Bet South championship winning season.
Born in Bromley, he began his career as a junior with Fulham before a move to Gravesend & Northfleet, where he became an England Non-League international.
Davis (pictured) moved on in 2005 to become a key member of the St Albans City side that won promotion to the Blue Square Bet Premier, a near ever-present for two seasons at Clarence Park.
Lewes snapped up Davis in 2007, spending a record transfer fee for him. He won promotion again, Lewes becoming champions of Blue Square Bet South in 2007/08.
However, Steve King's side broke up that summer and the creative midfielder was snapped up by AFC Wimbledon, where he won his third promotion from the same division in four seasons.
