EAGLE FLIES INTO PARKGATE 12/10/2001
Parkgate have appointed a new manager to succeed Wilf Race who has left for pastures new at Northern Counties East League rivals Maltby Main.
Russ Eagle, formerly an apprentice at Sheffield United who later played and managed at Alfreton and Maltby, takes over the reins at Parkgate.
Ironically, Eagle had been manager at Maltby himself since December 2000 until recently.
