PELL JOINS TERRIERS 15/06/2012
Blue Square Bet North club Harrogate Town have confirmed that central defender Richard Pell has decided to join Ebac Northern League Division One side Bedlington Terriers.
Pell (pictured), who joined Harrogate at the start of the 2010-2011 campaign, went on to become a popular figure at the CNG Stadium and made a total of 51 appearances and scored seven goals including a memorable double against Corby Town in the final match of last season.
Recently manager Simon Weaver announced that Pell had been invited back to pre-season training with the squad to assess his fitness following an injury that the tall defender had been carrying since Christmas.
Pell will be linking up with another former Town player in Paul Brayson, who also recently joined the Terriers.
"Everyone at Harrogate Town AFC would like to say a big thank you to Richard for all his efforts in a Town shirt and we wish him a great time at Bedlington Terriers," read a Harrogate statement.
