POGBA MAKES CREWE MOVE 08/07/2012
Following Mathias Pogba's decision to turn down a new contract offered to him by Andy Morrell at Blue Square Bet Premier club Wrexham, the French striker has taken up an offer to sign for newly promoted League One club Crewe Alexandra.
Being out of contract at the Racecourse means that Pogba (poictured) was free to sign for another club and no transfer fee would be involved.
Due to his age through, the Reds will be eligible for an amount of training compensation, in recognition for his development over the last two seasons with Wrexham.
Pogba arrived in north Wales after spending time playing in the lower leagues of France and signed his first professional contract following a trial period at the Racecourse.
Pogba made his senior debut as a sub against Fleetwood Town in October 2010, while scoring for the first time against Bath City in January 2011.
He played over 60 times in the Conference and scored 15 goals, plus several more appearances in cup competitions.
The striker has signed a two-year contract at the Alexandra Stadium, with the option for a third-year.
