MARTIN BOOST FOR CHARD 08/07/2012
Toolstation Western League Division One club Chard Town have been given a boost in readiness for the start of the 2012-13 season with news that key midfielder Andy Martin is staying at the club.
The club has announced that Martin has pledged his future to the Robins, despite there being interest from a number of Southern League clubs.
New floodlights at Chard’s Zembard Lane, meanwhile, have been installed, while Spillers of Chard have become the club’s new main sponsors.
