INJURY BLOW FOR LITTLE 30/07/2012
Blue Square Bet Premier club Wrexham have confirmed that Glen Little sustained an ankle injury during their game against Blackpool.
"He just went over on his ankle and he said it was fairly sore when he came off," said player-boss Andy Morrell.
"We'll look at it on Sunday and then again Monday to see how bad it is. He's a fairly quick healer, so we'll have to see."
The club's medical staff were able to tend to Little (pictured) immediately but they will want to see how in the injury settles down over the next day or two before giving any decision on the time scale for a recovery.
"It's not an injury I've had before, so I'm not sure," said the man himself.
"I took a fair old whack on the ankle and it did hurt. I wasn't going to run it off, so the best thing was to leave the action before I did any further damage."
