NEW ERA AT HENLEY 06/08/2012
Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East club Henley Town is looking forward to an exciting new era.
New members have been brought on to its management committee for the forthcoming season.
Jack Hollidge was unanimously elected chairman at the club’s annual meeting on Monday.
He had taken over the role on a temporary basis from Jamie Butler who had resigned towards the end of last season.
Andy Davies, who is chairman of Rotherfield United Football Club, incorporating 20 teams, was appointed the new vice-chairman.
Club stalwart Andy Bryan, who joined the club in 1985 as first-team manager, was made life president.
He had retired from the management committee at the end of last season and previously served as club chairman and fixture secretary.
The Lilywhites will be fielding one men’s team in the first division of the Hellenic League following its relegation from the premier division for failing to meet ground requirements.
There will also be a men’s Sunday team while a youth team will be reformed.
