BETTER TEAM WON, ADMITS DEVONSHIRE 20/08/2012
It was a disappointing day for Blue Square Bet Premier club Braintree Town at AFC Telford on Saturday.
They went down 3-0 in their Blue Square Bet Premier match for their first defeat of the season.
James Spray, Kieron St Aimie and Nathan Rooney grabbed the goals to sink the Iron.
Braintree boss Alan Devonshire (pictured) said: “They played better than us and they deserved the win, simple as that really.
“We didn’t really play well at all and we move on to the next one.
“In many ways it was one of our poorest performances since I’ve been at the club and I’ll be talking with the players one on one over the next few days to sort things out.”
