Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West side Taunton Town have named stylish midfielder Simon Ingram as club captain.

Taunton’s new manager Leigh Robinson (pictured) said: “I believe he will carry out the role of skipper with pride.

“Simon was my captain when I was at Wellington and he did a fine job.

"He has a very fine left foot and specialises in free-kicks.”
