GRESLEY CONTINUE UNBEATEN RUN 02/09/2012
Leek Town failed to halt Gresley FC's unbeaten run as the visitors secured a 2-1 win in the Evo-Stik League Division One South on Saturday.
Karl Charlton broke the deadlock on 78 minutes to put Leek ahead, but a brace from Dean Oliver (pictured) inside the final seven minutes saw Gresley turn it around.
Also continuing their fine start to the season were Coalville Town, who saw off Rainworth MW 3-0, while Newcastle Town won 3-1 at Brigg Town and a late winner saw Halesowen Town defeat Carlton Town 2-1.
Chasetown were 3-1 winners over Lincoln United, Hucknall Town lost 2-1 at home to Northwich Victoria, Market Drayton beat Belper Town by the odd goal in five and Kidsgrove Athletic escaped from Mickleover Sports with all three points, thanks to a 3-0 win.
Sheffield FC were 2-0 winners against Kings Lynn, Romulus won at Stamford by the same scoreline, and Sutton Coldfield beat Loughborough Dynamo 2-1.
