ROBINSON AND PULMAN RETURN TO RAMSGATE 06/09/2012
Ryman League Division One South club Ramsgate have agreed terms with Margate for local defender Curtis Robinson to return to the Rams.
Robinson, who is equally at home at centre back or on the left side, played for Ramsagte Under-18s when they last reached the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup six years ago, and at the same time was involved with the England youth squad.
Subject to the completion of paperwork, he should be joining the rest of the squad for training this week and will be available for selection on Saturday.
In addition, striker Ian Pulman agreed terms with the Rams this week to see him at Southwood for a third spell. Last season he started out with Eastbourne Borough but rejoined the Rams mid-season, finishing the campaign scoring 14 goals in 27 appearances. This year he re-joined Whitstable, but has now re-signed for the Rams.
After completing the paperwork, Pulman (pictured) confirmed: "Firstly, I would just like to say how happy I am to be back, and can’t wait to start scoring goals for Ramsgate again. I believe Tim, Darren and Steve are really building something here, getting a great squad together and really trying to push on.
"I can’t wait to get going, starting with a win on Saturday, and repay the Chairman, fans, players and management for leaving in the first place, a decision I sincerely regret. Up the Rams.”
