TURPIN LEAVES EASTBOURNE BOROUGH 19/09/2012
Blue Square Bet South club Eastbourne Borough have announced that centre-back Matt Turpin has left the club.
Boro boss Tommy Widdrington told the club's website: "We mutually agreed to terminate his contract (after Monday evening's training session).
"I thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future. I feel it hasn't worked out, and think it best he goes and play some regular football, which I couldn't guarantee him."
It is understood that Turpin (pictured) is already in negotiations with interested parties.
Turpin has previously played in the Ryman League for Ware and Cheshunt.
