CANTERBURY RUN LEADERS CLOSE

Kent Hurlimann League Premier Division leaders Erith Town won 3-2 at home to Canterbury City.

Tyrus Gorden gave the Dockers the lead after 15 minutes then Corey Walters-Wricht doubled the lead before Neilson pulled one back just on the half time whistle. Atkins equalised for City in the final minute but Liam Burgess stole the points with a goal five minutes into time added on at the end.

Second placed Erith & Belvedere thumped Beckenham Town 6-0 at Eden Park Avenue. McCain opened for the Deres in the last minute of the first half. Andy Constable scored a brace in the second half, as did Andy Burchell then Knight finished off with two minutes to spare.

VCD Athletic remain 3rd after a 2-0 win at Tunbridge Wells. Paul Gross gave the Vickers a first half 1-0 lead then George Mitchell doubled on 79 minutes.

Cray Valley PM are 4th after their 3-1 win at home to Sevenoaks Town. Lewis Longhurst put the Oaks in front on 17 minutes but before half time Tunde Aderonmu scored a brace to give Cray a half time 2-1 lead. Cray skipper Jaime Miller made sure of the points 10 minutes into the second half.

Lordswood had a comfortable 4-1 win at home to Holmesdale. Mark Murison scored the only first half goal then struck again 20 minutes into the second half. Richard Dimmock made it 3-0 in the 74th minute then Steve Strotten pulled a goal back from the penalty spot four minutes later. Dommock doubled his tally and made certain of the points for Lordswood with a minute to spare.

Rochester United won 3-1 at home to Whyteleafe. Stuart Zanone scored a hat-trick in this match, the first after just three minutes, the only first half goal, the other two in the second half with one coming from the penalty spot. Just before Zanone finished scoring Lari Yao hit Whyteleafe's consolation.

Deal Town won 3-2 at home to Fisher. Ian Wallace scored the only first half goal then Josh Pain doubled seven minutes into the second half. Marvin Alebiosu pulled a goal back for the Fish two minutes later but then Luke Biggington restored the two-goal advantage on 58 minutes. Steve O'Donnell did score another Fisher goal but it was in the final minute and there wasn't enough time for any more.

Corinthian travelled to Greenwich Borough where they shared a 0-0 draw.

In Division One, Whitstable Town maintained their invincibility with a 4-1 win at home to Phoenix Sports.

Meanwhile Margate beat champions Herne Bay 3-1.
