There was no change at the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division after Saturday's matches.

Marlow beat Reading Town 1-0 with a goal from David Stevens.

Witney Town travelled to Newbury and won 2-1 with goals from James Dobson and Nick Thorne. Ray Spence scored for Newbury. Slimbridge beat Binfield 2-1 with goals scored by Sean Bennett and Liam Harding. James Suarez scored Binfield’s goal. Ardley United thrashed Abingdon Town 8-1. Troy Bryan led the way with a hat trick. Joe Eyre notched two with further goals coming from Matt Brandish, Jason Costello and an own goal. Robert Lightfoot provided Abingdon’s consolation.

Flackwell Heath and Wantage Town fought out a five goal thriller with three of the goals coming in the last ten minutes. Wantage won 3-2 with goals from Tony Joyce, Graham Edney and Richard Claydon. Paolo Cicero and Adam Harman scored for Flackwell.

Highworth Town continue to struggle going down 2-4 at home to Highmoor Ibis for whom Callum Gallimore and Shane Small-King each scored twice. Shane Davis and Ryan King scored for Highworth. Wokingham & Embrook won 5-0 at Holyport with Luke Lee netting a four goal haul and Wokingham’s other goal coming from Michael Walton.

Kidlington continue to improve beating Ascot United 3-2 with goals from Ryan Curtin, Nathan Geary and debutant, Jordan Tabor. Ascot’s goals came from Ian Brooks and Robert Saunders. Thame United beat Oxford City Nomads 2-1 with goals from Luke Ricketts and Alex Stewart. Louis Joyce scored for the Nomads.

Brimscombe & Thrupp continue to lead Division One West but were pressed hard by Carterton and won by the only goal of the game scored by Matt Green. Clanfield and Tytherington Rocks drew 2-2 with Richard Guy and Dan Bishop scoring for Clanfield. Joe White netted both goals for the Rocks.

Fairford Town continue to keep in contention with a 2-1 win over North Leigh Reserves. Dan bailey and Callum parsons were on target for Fairford with Jozef Fullerton netting for North Leigh. Hook Norton’s good start to the season continues with a 3-2 win over Cricklade Town. Chris Tillcock, Dan Tew and Sam Smith scored for Hook Norton with Ryan Thomas and Ben Carter scoring for Cricklade.

New College Swindon and Lambourn Sports drew 2-2. Josh Skeates and mature student, Jeremy Newton, scored for New College. Matt Pedder scored both of Lambourn’s goals. Old Woodstock Town had a comfortable 3-1 over Malmesbury Victoria. Danny Bone, Alan Robinson and Jamie Prpa scoring for Old Woodstock with Max Sparrow replying for Malmesbury. Wootton Bassett moved into second place with a 3-2 win over Letcombe. Liam Edmondson, Mark Barnes and Steve Yeardley were all on target for Bassett with Adam Bruce and Ben Stone scoring for Letcombe.

In Division One East, the Rayners Lane goal machine rolls inexorably on with a 10-0 annihilation of Thatcham Town Reserves. Ryan Upton led the way with five goals. Two came from strike partner, Lawrence Yaku, with further goals coming from Shakir Adada, Paul Leslie and Williams. There were almost as many goals at Milton United where Maidenhead United Reserves ran out 6-3 winners with all their goals being scored in the first half. Jonathan Hippolyte scored a hat trick with Tristan Jones and Curtis Chapple adding the others. Drew Fowler scored twice for Milton with Jordan Parker notching Milton’s other goal.

Headington Amateurs beat Easington Sports 2-0 with goals from Paul Hedger and Luke Cuff. Bracknell Town beat Didcot Town Reserves 4-1 with goals from Shane Cooper-Clark, Scott Williams and Tom Barratt (2). Jamie Deller scored for Didcot.
