DOLLY BLUES ADD GREEN 17/10/2012
Evo-Stik League Division One North club Lancaster City have announced the signing of midfielder/forward Darren Green from Bamber Bridge.
Green (pictured) arrives in what is joint-managers Michael Stringfellow and Neil Wainwright's first signing since taking over.
Green, 23, can play as both a central midfielder and a striker. The former England College International began his career as a professional at Stockport County before enjoying spells at Farsley Celtic, Barrow and Kendal Town. Green has been playing at Ironside, Bamber Bridge, since September 2011.
The forward was expected to make his debut on Tuesday evening at Prescot Cables, but the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
His next chance to feature for City will be Tuesday 23rd October when City host Radcliffe Borough at Giant Axe.
